You will become a Gospel Worker within one of our churches or projects across the Collective.

What is a Gospel Worker?

What can I expect?

A Gospel Worker is what every follow of Jesus is. We are all called to be his hands and feet in the world, taking his good news to all around us. We are looking for men and women that are willing to learn, willing to serve within the local church context; and most important, passionate about Jesus.

If this is you, would you prayerfully consider coming and joining us as we seek to advance the Gospel in the city of Birmingham?

An internship has 3 areas we look for you to train and grow in:

  • Head

  • Heart

Nurturing your heart: Grow in your motivation to love and serve God and others; instilling spiritual practices to continue for the rest of your life. You will have a coach who will be supporting and guiding you through your time with us.

  • Hands

Acts of Service: Put your training into action through pouring yourself into serving in one of the local churches within the OIKOS Collective.
